Bowed Strings Stores

In Gwinnett County, Georgia, there are two bowed strings stores that I would like to highlight.

Huthmaker Violins, located in downtown Duluth is a friendly family owned and operated shop with a very comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.  They have bowed string instruments and accessories available for purchase, rent and consignment in a wide price range.  They offer private instruction, repairs and maintenance, appraisals, and a recital space available for rent.  In the years I've lived in Gwinnett County, I have come to know the Huthmaker family and developed a great working relationship with them. 

Ronald Sachs Violins in Lilburn, likewise offers a wide range of instruments and accessories, private instruction, repairs and maintenance.  They do not have a recital space available.  This shop is very professional and efficient in their customer service dealings.  Here is an example of their excellent and professional customer service: after purchasing a new instrument at a different shop, I had a problem with my peg which Ronald was very kind to quickly fix without any payment.  As a result, I'm very pleased to entrust his shop with the care and maintenance of my instrument in the future.  This shop is located on Pleasant Hill Road just after exiting Ronald Reagan Parkway, on the right.
